The kick-off meeting between 08-09th April 2015 was hosted by the institute Vinnopôle Sud-Ouest, the innovation and research center of the Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin (IVF) located in the Southeastern region of France.
The first day started with the introduction of the participants and the short review of the project; then the significant methodology issues of the planned network were discussed: establishing the network of the facility agents, establishing ten technical workteams and two scientific ones, the training and support of the facility agents.
Finally, the participants debated the issues of grapevine trunk diseases and flavescence dorée (FD) in the frame of a wine-tasting in the evening.
The second day was opened by the discussion of the administrative and financial management and it was followed by the topic of the required synthesis of the scientific and technical knowledge. The next issues to be debated were the establishment of a knowledge reservoir and the work program of communication activities.
The meeting was ended by the discussion of other issues and the summary of conclusions.
