In the last few decades the Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences established a number of scientific research and technical working groups. The institute intends to involve young researchers, PhD and university students in the research groups working on this new project.
The main research fields of the project:
- viticulture and plant protection,
- food science and oenology,
- landscape ecology and GIS,
- IT and quality assurance,
- rural development.
Another important aim of the project is to find new partners and extend the professional network of the university to prepare potential H2020 cooperation. It is also essential to promote and enhance the communication between entrepreneurs, institutions of higher education and researchers to accomplish R+D based on real market demands.
The research groups are supported by the project TÁMOP 4.2.2.D-15/1/KONV-2015-0003. The title of the project is "Development of the Knowledge Centres of Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences concerning the research and development issues of the Tokaj wine region".
